Sicom has extensive experience in researching, defining and extending mathematical algorithms that form the heart of advanced radar, communication, and biomedical systems.
Sicom uses a wide array of digital signal processing techniques for algorithmic development. These include adaptive signal processing, adaptive antenna and array processing, adaptive nulling (main beam and side lobe), space-time adaptive processing (STAP), tracking, multi-sensor data fusion, multiple hypothesis testing (MHT), modulation/demodulation techniques, sampling theory, adaptive filter design, Fourier methods, time-frequency methods (e.g. wavelet transform, Wigner-Ville distributions), linear systems theory, neural networks, Kalman filters and more.
